Data Deletion Instructions

This page explains how to delete your Vaaha account and the personal data we hold, including any data obtained when you connect a third-party account (such as Facebook, Instagram, or TikTok) to publish content through Vaaha. Vaaha is operated by Karuka AI LLC (“Vaaha”, “we”, “us”).

1. Delete everything — request account deletion

To delete your account and associated personal data, email privacy@vaaha.ai from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my account”. We verify the request, then permanently delete your account and personal data within 30 days (sooner where feasible), except where we are legally required to retain certain records (e.g. tax/financial documents) — those are retained only for the minimum period the law requires and then deleted.

What gets deleted: your profile and account, content and documents you uploaded, AI-generated analyses and embeddings derived from your content, connected-channel tokens, and operational metadata tied to your account.

2. Disconnect a social channel (Facebook / Instagram / TikTok)

If you connected a social account to publish through Vaaha and want to remove just that connection and the data obtained from it:

1. In Vaaha, go to Marketing & Sales → connected channels and disconnect the channel. This deletes the stored access tokens and the profile/account info we received from that platform.
2. You can also remove Vaaha’s access from the platform itself — e.g. on Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business Integrations → remove Vaaha; on Instagram/TikTok via their connected-apps settings.

Disconnecting removes the channel’s tokens and platform-provided data from Vaaha. Content you already published on those platforms is governed by those platforms and is not controlled by Vaaha.

3. Confirmation

When your deletion is complete we send a confirmation to your account email. If you requested deletion of only a connected channel, the disconnect takes effect immediately in your account.
